Knife Sharpening Workshop 1st June

10 May 2013 - 13:23

japanese knife sharpening
Konnichiwa,

The dojo is pleased to host a knife sharpening workshop for it's members and their guests.

If you would like to participate in the workshop there will be a nominal fee of $10 to cover materials and instruction. You will be able to bring 3 knives of your own to sharpen (no serrated knives please).

If you would like knifes sharpened but are unable to participate in the workshop you are able to drop them off at the dojo before the workshop or on the Saturday morning and they will be sharpened for you by a trained sharpener. Please limit knives to 3 per person and wrap them in a (preferably distinctive) tea-towel with elastic band or cord so we know which ones are yours. Knife sharpening will be done for a donation of $10 per set of up to 3 knives.

The workshop will be held at the dojo at 3pm on Saturday the 1st of June 2013 and will finish no later than 5pm. Teens are welcome but no children please due to the large number of blades that will be around.
