How long have you been training?
4 Years

Why did you start practising?
When I was a child, I was very interested in martial arts, having had practised some at the time, I just decided to give it a go one day as an adult, and I just couldn’t seem to stop!

What has the practice given you and why do you keep practising?
Aikido is the art self development. The benefits for me are ever evolving, helping me grow continuously wherever i am in life. It keeps balance of my mind and body. As for why I keep practising, its just what we do, and not to mention how much fun I have doing it.

Why do you teach?
Being a teacher, keeps me on a constant learning curve, every teaching experience provides a unique opportunity to gain new insights as to how other people experience the practise and that then feeds back into my own ability, making the student and teacher grow together.
Witnessing the growth of a student, for me is a very rewarding experience.

What other hobbies/interests do you have?
I enjoy spending time with my dogs and getting out into nature when i can!
