Club Fees

A dojo is a place where we follow “the path”. To be a member of the dojo is to become a student of Japanese culture and its traditions. In our consumer based society, there is no modern parallel to this unique experience. Members become part of the dojo “family”, where group consideration, rather than service of the self, is given priority. Like any family, you are taken care of by its members, but you too are also responsible for the group.  By focussing our awareness on the others of the group we become open, inclusive and receptive – the right state of mind/heart for Aikido practice.

The universe provides everyone the light, water, air and earth that supports our very existence – without discrimination. As a result we are all gifted life. We practice the virtues of giving and inclusion to rediscover our natural state. Only with the heart of inclusiveness can we live a life in harmony.
